Sunde Engineering is a civil and environmental engineering firm located in Bloomington, Minnesota. Since 1984, we have served contractors, developers, architects, landowners, and municipalities throughout the Midwest.

Our civil group provides a full range of civil engineering design and construction management services for private and public clients. Our environmental group provides a full range of environmental services including non-metallic mineral mining, Phase I environmental assessments, Phase II investigations, spill prevention, and brownfield development.

Sunde Engineering has extensive commercial site development experience ranging from small restaurants to large shopping centers.  In addition, Sunde Engineering is skilled in residential subdivision design from the initial planning stages through completion of construction documents.  Our projects include high scale residential and golf communities, large master planned communities, and typical subdivisions.  

We are experienced with DOT requirements including drainage and driveway permits, roadway design, and right-of-way plans.  We routinely secure permits from the DOT, DNR, watershed districts, counties, and local governments.

Sunde Engineering's staff includes experts in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis.  We are experienced in storm sewer design, box culvert design, open channel analysis, erosion protection, inlet control, and outfall structures.  Using state of the art computer models, we are able to develop innovative solutions for stormwater and wastewater management on difficult sites.
